On 6th November 2013, My friend and I had visited Mines Shopping Fair at Seri Kembangan, Selangor.  We visit there because we have a task assigned by our lecturer. We go there with KTM. From KL Sentral to Serdang. Its take time around 25minute.
We choose Mines Wonderland as our journey because Mines have a many interested place. One of  which is at middle of the shopping complex have a cruise. Everybody can ride a boat to appreciate the beauty of nature.

Here, we want to tell a bit about the existence of Mines Shopping Fair.

From a Derelict Wasteland to a Wellness Paradise.

Tin Mining was at its peak in Malaya in the 1900s and scores of Chinese migrants came to the Peninsular to seek their fortune. Among the early settlers of the century was Chan Wing, who came to the shores of Malaya in 1909. He founded the Hong Fatt Tin Mine - the largest open cast tin mine in the world. In the 80s, when the tin industry began to diminish in Malaysia, what was left behind was a derelict wasteland that had suffered years of mining practice. Mining in the area left a gaping hole of 2 kilometers long, a kilometer wide, and 200 meters deep, what was a sight for sore eyes to others, was a dream waiting to take shape for forward thinking business magnate Tan Sri Lim Kim Yew, who purchased the land in 1988. That is history. Today, at the same site stands the majestic MINES Wellnes City, the product of a visionary man who saw what others did not. He saw a golfing paradise and wellnes resort that put Malaysia on the world map in sport and leisure. Not many of us would have imagined that the future of that awful landscape would be so coloured with prestige.
